Upcoming and recent yacht shows in Paris and Shenzhen are putting a strong emphasis on the experiential and lifestyle aspects of boating, signaling a market that caters not just to ownership, but to a complete maritime experience.

The upcoming Paris Nautic Show, scheduled for November 2025, has adopted the theme of “ocean innovation, ocean adventure, sailing passion, and ecological transition”. The event, which will host around 350 exhibitors and nearly 400 boats, aims to be a professional matching platform that also underscores sustainable development and green sailing.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Seven Star Bay International Exhibition in Shenzhen’s Dapeng Bay successfully implemented a “land-sea dual-drive” exhibition model. This innovative approach featured three distinct zones: a land exhibition area, a water exhibition area, and a scene experience area, allowing visitors to fully engage with the products. Exhibitors capitalized on this by highlighting the lifestyle appeal of their vessels. Italian brand Azimut presented its Fly 53 model as a mobile “sea reception room” ideal for business entertainment and family use. The French catamaran brand Bali showcased its BALI 4.6, emphasizing its transformable open-space concept that can switch between an enclosed saloon and an open deck in seconds.

Furthermore, the scene experience zone focused directly on consumer activities, with brands like MALIBU and AXIS displaying professional wakeboarding boats equipped with proprietary wave-making technology. This trend towards marketing the on-water experience—be it for relaxation, entertainment, or sport—is becoming a central focus at major exhibitions, reflecting the industry’s drive to broaden its appeal and connect with new audiences.
